Jim has been in practice in Cupar since the mid-1980s, where he has practised extensively as a partner in another firm, principally in conveyancing (both residential and commercial), with a strong emphasis on agricultural transactions. |

Hilary is the firm's court partner, specialising in matrimonial and child related work, employment disputes and all civil and criminal matters where an appearance in court might be required. She has been authorised to carry out Legal Aid work by the Scottish Legal Aid Board since 1979. She was born and brought up in North East Fife and has lived in Cupar since 1980. |

Dermot is principally involved in residential purchases and sales as well as leasing matters. Utilising his experience as a former clerk to the local Licensing Board, he undertakes all liquor licensing work on behalf of the firm. Dermot has lived in Cupar since 1979. |

Having graduated from the University of Edinburgh, Susan has been in practice in Cupar since the late 1980s, formerly as a partner in another firm. While she deals in a wide variety of property matters, Susan's particular interests are Wills, Tax Planning, Incapacity and Executries. She is a Curator ad Litem for the Mental Health Tribunals Scotland, a Trust and Estate Practitioner, and is co-author of a textbook entitled 'The Elder Client: A Practical Guide' published by W Green and Son. |

Cheryl studied law at the University of Dundee. She graduated in 2007, obtaining her LLB with First Class Honours, and completed her Diploma in Legal Practice in 2008. Born and brought up in North East Fife, Cheryl joined SES in 2008 as a trainee solicitor and has been gaining invaluable knowledge and experience in all areas of the law. |
